Upgrade your repair toolkit with the Permatex Optimum Easy-Disassembly Black RTV Silicone Gasket Maker in a 3 oz tube. This advanced gasket maker features an innovative Easy-Disassembly formula that significantly reduces the time required to disassemble engines or parts. Apply it as you normally would, and when it's time to take components apart, simply loosen them and peel away the gasket maker effortlessly with your fingers.

The Optimum Easy-Disassembly Black combines maximum oil resistance with superior flexibility, making it ideal for modern engines where different materials like plastic, steel, and aluminum meet—each with varying rates of expansion and contraction. Its strength and flexibility handle the stresses of today's lightweight, high-performance components with thinner metals, fewer fasteners, and wider bolt patterns.

This gasket maker is sensor-safe, low odor, and non-corrosive, offering excellent resistance to oil, shop fluids, and vibration. It's 15% stronger and 60% more flexible than Ultra Black, making it one of the most advanced RTV silicone gasket makers available. Perfect for use on oil pans, timing covers, transmission pans, and differential covers.
