The Honda CBR600F is a 600cc (36.6 cubic inches) inline four-cylinder sport bike produced by Honda Motorcycles as part of the CBR series. First introduced in 1987 and sold through 1990, it was known in the U.S. as the "Hurricane." A smaller 500cc version, the CBR500F, was offered in Austria and Mexico. Subsequent models in the CBR600F line were designated as the CBR600F2, F3, F4, and F4i. In 2011, Honda revived the CBR600F with a modernized version of the original model.

The initial CBR600F, along with the CBR750F and CBR1000F, marked Honda's introduction of fully-faired, inline four-cylinder sport bikes. This design was reportedly inspired by a brief European trend toward smooth, fully enclosed fairings, as seen in models like the Ducati Paso.
